🏉 RFU SEASON UPDATE
Following today’s announcement from the RFU, the start of the competitive community rugby season has been postponed until the week commencing Monday 21st September.
The decision has been taken due to concerns around player welfare and the condition of pitches following the prolonged dry weather.
Obviously it’s frustrating when everyone at the club has been working hard towards the start of the new campaign, but player safety has to come first.
We’ll now work through what the announcement means for our upcoming fixtures and will communicate any changes as soon as they’re confirmed.
In the meantime Bernie and the rest of ground crew are still doing there rain dance, & the hard work continues on the training paddock at Hartsfield. 💪
